Description

One way for students to build number sense is by being able to simultaneously show a number on their hands without having to count from one to build it. These slides will help students create the mental image of what a number looks like when re-created using their fingers. These slides can be used in many ways. You can show the image, and have students build the number on their own hands, you could also show the slide quickly and then ask students the number they saw. The possibilities are endless! Doubles are also a part of the slides. (there is a blank page after each slide so you can advance and have a conversation without a new image appearing)
