About the store
I have been an educator since 1991. My first experience was at the university level, teaching Spanish and literature. However, I always loved working with elementary school students. Therefore, a few years later, I made the transition to elementary education and have never regretted it. I have taught grades K-4. I have also been a coach/coordinator, and school administrator. Teachers Pay Teachers has given me an extraordinary opportunity to share my resources, expertise, and experiences with other educators. Experience
I have been an educator since 1991. My first experience was at the university level, teaching Spanish and literature. However, I always loved working with elementary school students. Teaching style
I believe that the goal and purpose of education is growth through the reconstruction of experiences to increase students’ problem-solving skills and their ability to fully participate in the society in which they live. I believe that the appropriate learning should occur through the experience of problem-solving projects, cooperative learning, activities, multicultural education, and community service projects among others. I create resources that are engaging and often integrate subject matters. When I include informational texts in the form of small books, I add activities to help students use their curiosity to think and solve real life problems.
