Subitizing (MIXED)
This pack is part of my Subitizing Bundle
Subitizing is a great way to improve Number Sense. Students visualize the number patterns in their minds and better understand the value of each number as well as improve math facts. This bundle is great for Back to School and can be used ALL YEAR.
This pack is best used with PowerPoint and PDF. It can be displayed on a Smartboard, tablet, and/or computer. It's great for whole group instruction, small group/centers, or individual practice.
All activities (i.e. PowerPoint and PDF) include dice, tally marks, ten frames, and base ten blocks. This pack is a mix of all of these skills, they are NOT separate files. One slide might be dice, while the next slide (in the same PowerPoint) will be ten frames etc...

I teach 4th grade but with us coming off a year and a half of Distance Learning, my kids have a lot of gaps in their learning. These help fill in some number sense gaps. My kids love these because every student feels successful. I love the simplicity of them and how there is a variety. I am going to buy the bundle! Will you be making any other sets? Maybe for the upper grades?

This was perfect-a little advanced when I used it at the beginning of first grade via distance learning, but kids were still engaged. I am going to use it again in person on the smart board soon and I know the kids will totally get it! Subitizing is so important and needs to be practiced regularly.
