This interactive Boom Cards deck teaches students the syntax of the Subject Verb Object sentence structure using the Speech Therapy technique of Colourful Semantics.

Included in this deck are fourteen beautifully illustrated scenes targeting Subject + Verb + Object sentence structure, using the colourful / colourful semantics technique. This technique assigns a colour to each part of the sentence structure as follows;
Subject - Orange
Verb - Yellow
Object - Green
Use this deck to teach children the basic sentence structure Subject + Verb + Object (i.e. 'The boy is catching the ball' or 'The girl is reading the book') by encouraging them to sequence the three coloured visuals in order before describing the action picture scene.
The following sentences are targeted in this deck:
The boy is driving the car.
The girl is climbing the stairs.
The boy is kicking the ball.
The girl is cutting the paper.
The boy is riding a bike.
The girl is opening the present.
The boy is watching the television.
The boy is blowing the horn.

What are Boom Cards?
Boom Cards are internet based, interactive activities that work great for distance learning! They are highly motivating, self-paced, and self-grading.
Accessing Your Boom Cards:
With this purchase, you will download a PDF with a link to activate the Boom Cards. When you redeem your purchase, Boom Learning will ask you to create a free account if you do not already have one. After you activate your cards, they will live in the library of your Boom Learning teacher account.
Do I need a Boom Learning account?
You must at least open a free account to access your Boom Cards. Free accounts allow you the ability to generate student progress reports for up to 5 students and the ability to assign Boom Cards to an unlimited number of students without generating reports using the Fast Play option.
If you are new to Boom Learning, you will receive a 90-day free premium upgrade which allows you to hold data for up to 150 students. Once your trial period ends, you will be invited to purchase a premium membership. If you choose not to purchase an account, your decks will be moved to a free account. You will still be able to continue using your Boom Cards with Fast Play.
How do students use Boom Cards?
After the teacher opens a free Boom Learning account, he/she will create fast play pins to assign Boom Cards to students. Students do not need an account to use the fast play feature.
Which Devices are Compatible?
Boom Cards™ play on most modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) and devices including Android, iPads, iPhones, Kindle Fires, and Chromebooks.
Google Classroom:
Boom Cards can be used through Google Classroom. In the teacher account, you will be able to get a link for each deck.
Please note: To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for modern Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (a form of play that gives instant feedback to students for self-grading Boom Cards).
