Description

Teaching procedures, rules and routines for back to school is so important! Teaching routines and procedures for substitute teachers is just as important. This back to school classroom management lesson and activity contains an editable Google Slides lesson, a hands on activity, an incentive and some printables for your sub binder.

Make it easy for yourself during back to school or at any time you have a sub coming in. Add the lesson and activity to your sub binder or sub plans to help you introduce, teach, and reinforce your classroom rules, procedures and expectations for having a substitute teacher. I use it every time I have a sub coming in to remind my students of the routines and procedures for a substitute teacher.

What is included in this must have resource:

  • Editable Google Slides- teach, reinforce and discuss clear expectations for when a substitute is in your room.

  • Hands On Activity- sort expected and unexpected behaviors when a substitute is needed.

  • Incentive- kudos tickets for expected behaviors for a sub day. Reinforces the expected behaviors. Allows you to follow up and acknowledge expected behaviors.

  • Printables- expectations posters for you to choose from. Add to your sub binder and to hang on the walls.

We all need a sub in our classroom at some point. Wouldn't it be great to have a lesson ready to go to teach or remind students of your expectations for a sub when you are gone?

YES it would be. Here it is ready for you!
