Description

These probes were created to provide simple and easy-to-track data for students with goals for subtracting within 10. There are 40 probes included in this pack. There are two probes to a page with 5 problems per probe. Five problems were purposely selected to keep the data concise. Five problems also make it easy for the teacher to determine the percent correct easily.

The top of each page has information to collect including the student's name, date, score, and strategy used. The “strategy used” line is perfect to take observational notes on the strategy used or what tools (such as number line, hundreds chart, counters, etc.) were provided.
