Why the Levels Look Different

Traditional subtraction fluency programs often move through facts in numerical order, which can overload students, slow fluency development, and prevent connections between facts.

This program organizes facts into intentional levels based on number families and related addition facts. Grouping facts by relationships helps students:

• Recognize connections between facts
• Reduce cognitive load
• Build automaticity more efficiently
• Develop confidence through mastery of related facts
  

Students progress based on mastery, not memorization in numerical order.
