This fun math center card game will give your students extra practice subtracting multi-digit numbers in an engaging way. These MathEmonSters with silly names will battle it out in the style of the "War" card game.
Students must calculate the answer to their power equation (subtraction of multi-digit numbers) and call it out during the duel. Students can show their work on a recording sheet. Center game rules and an answer key are also included.
Differentiation Options: For an easier game, play only with cards numbered 1 - 18 as they DO NOT require regrouping. Cards numbered 19 - 36 DO require regrouping. Cards numbered 37 - 63 require multiple regrouping.
