Description

What you will receive….

  • 24 Task Cards containing one-step subtraction word problems
  • Answer Sheet
  • Answer Key
  • A digital Google Form Version for Google Classroom

Why Task Cards?

  • Task cards have multiple purposes including math centers or stations, small group and/or data driven instruction, review and or reinforcement games or activities, SCOOT, exit tickets, morning work, and informal and formative assessments.
  • Task cards are great for chunking and allow students to focus on a single task at a time in comparison to a full worksheet which can overwhelm a student.
  • When Task Cards are used as a method to review material, when set up around the room, they can provide mobility for kinesthetic learners while also providing student interaction and the opportunity for cooperative learning.
  • Task cards are also a differentiation tool. Task cards on a certain level can be assigned to a specific learner. This can be used to scaffold but also support a struggling learner.
