• Find the subtraction equation in the search. The player makes a subtraction equation from the search, they color it on the board and record the subtraction problem. The winner is the last person to find the last equation in the search.

DIFFERENTIATED
Games can be given to students with the subtraction facts that are most appropriate for their abilities. Start with basic games subtracting from 1 through to 10 or you can challenge students with subtraction games from 10 through to 20 or they can play the 'Search for Difference' games from 1 through to 20 When a player finds two numbers with a difference for example of 5.

GRADE LEVEL SUGGESTIONS: These games are suitable for first grade, and second grade. The games may also be suitable for other grades depending upon the abilities of your students. Please see the preview to determine if these are suitable for your students.
