Students will be able to...
- Solve subtraction story problems
- Decompose 3-digit numbers
- Apply a variety flexible strategies such as: Adding Up and Removal
- Understand the relationship between addition and subtraction, and recognize "adding up" as a way to figure out the difference (i.e. subtract)
- Solve subtraction problems on a number line
- Apply base 10 understanding
- Compare height, length, and other quantities using the bar model
