Scaffolded task cards to break down each part of solving subtraction word problems. There are 8 task cards for each level - the same problems so that students are able to apply the skills they learn in each level to the following cards.
Level 1: Count the remainder & write the answer.
Level 2: Cross out the correct number, count the remainder & write the equation.
Level 3: Draw the starting number, cross out the correct number, count the remainder & write the equation.
These cards are designed for students who are writing. Please feel free to contact me if you would like this product adapted for students with fine motor difficulties.
