Description

This subtraction and rounding resource pack contains everything your students need to practice and master subtraction within 1,000 and rounding to the nearest 10 and 100. These 5 activities include subtraction with regrouping once and regrouping twice.

The worksheets build on each other, starting out with a review of 2 digit subtraction, moving onto 3 digit addition, and increasing with difficulty. Students solve word problems by first rounding to estimate the answer, then solving. The activities are scaffolded, as students can draw place value disks to solve or use the standard algorithm.
