Share

Description

This is for students who haven't found that great way to practice math facts yet, as well as those who feel they have already mastered them!

See Pixel Art Math in action here!

Learning math facts isn’t always easy. Move past the worksheet and timed tests and let your students be excited about practicing again! Engage your students in subtraction facts with this magically revealing, self-correcting, auto-generating pixel art!

This isn’t your standard color by numbers pixel art. This is a completely digital, self-correcting pixel art that students can complete multiple times.

In this bundle, you will receive five different activities, all of which contain problems subtracting from numbers up to 10. Each activity has 100 problems, for a total of 500 fact fluency problems!

It’s simple! On their own device, students write the sum to each addition fact. When it is correct, the cell will change color and the answer will disappear! Finally, students will be excited to practice math facts again!

The following products are included in this bundle:

Subraction from 20 - Apple Tree

Subraction from 20 - Sail Boat

Subraction from 20 - House

Subraction from 20 - Ladybug

Subraction from 20 - Volcano

Helpful tips:

These do not need to be completed in one sitting! Students’ progress is saved as they go.

Use as a daily warm up, workstation, or homework!

This works perfectly with Google Classroom. Make sure to select “Make a copy for each student.”

I have put the secret reveal in the title for your reference. Make sure to rename it before you assign it to keep the food reveal a surprise!

What’s included?

A Google Drive folder with your own copy of the activity, Terms of Use, and Helpful Tips.

This resource provides multiplication drills with a digital art twist. When I use this with my virtual tutoring students, I start by letting them choose one fact at a time to complete instead of going across the row fact by fact. As their fluency increases, then we switch to fact by fact. They LOVE seeing the picture appear!
