This is a PowerPoint that can be used as notes for summarizing data distributions. This presentation includes new vocabulary along with visual examples of line plots and dot plots to be used as class notes or a practice assignment. These notes are structured with a do now, and objective followed by examples and practice questions. This presentation also has a mid way check point to help students quickly self evaluate. These notes align with the Grade 6 EnVisions Math textbook for topic 8, lesson 7 but can be used separately as well!
This download will be a zip file in which you will find a PowerPoint presentation that contains the lesson and a PDF document which contains and answer key!
Once you have downloaded this product, you will be able to completely customize your presentation to fit your needs. Depending on your technology platform, the words shown in the thumbnails above do not look perfectly aligned, that is because I make everything in my google drive then export it to Power Point prior to uploading here. I can assure you, once downloaded this file, the words and slides are well structured and organized! (Although, you can customize to your liking anyway!)
