Do you want to give your students something to keep their minds active over the summer? This is a fun packet of summer activities for students moving from second to third grade.
It is a connect four activity. Each week, the students will complete 4 activities, most of which can be done independently. Activities include science, social studies, language arts, math, P.E., and art.
Some examples of the activities are:
-Read a short story and tell someone what happened in the beginning, middle, and end.
-Clean up trash at the park.
-Start a rock collection. Sort your rocks by size, color, or texture.
-Write a poem about summer.
-Complete an attached worksheet (there are 8 worksheets included)
-And many more...
