This summer, strengthen r-controlled vowel (ar, er, ir, or, ur) phonics skills with these no prep, print and go bossy r words color by code worksheets! Designed for 1st and 2nd graders' phonics fluency skills, students will love first cracking the code to create their list of bossy r words, and then get in reading practice as they identify and color the decodable words. Students also write a sentence with one of the ten words. This is a great supplemental activity during end of year or summer school to use with any Science of Reading or UFLI r-controlled vowel unit.
