Description

This packet was designed for my second graders to encourage them to continue practicing their math skills over the summer. See page 3 for the introduction letter that I used to roll out the summer math challenge. I actually had about half of my students complete the packet and they turned it in to me so proudly at the beginning of third grade!

Each page includes a 3-digit number of the day format. Each page contains sections for the date, number words, expanded form, odd vs. even, money, place value, and base-ten block drawings.

The bottom half of each page contains a variety of different word problems, equations, mental math, counting, fact families, etc.
