These summer math crafts/activities are the perfect way for students to practice adding and subtracting fractions with like and unlike denominators!

Students will complete the summer craft/activity by cutting, gluing, solving computation problems, coloring, and decorating.

The PDF document contains 10 summer designs (ice cream cone, ice cream sundae, popsicle, bubble tea, gumball machine, watermelon, fish, turtle, pineapple drink, and hot air balloon) and four pages of dots with computation problems (adding fractions with like denominators, subtracting fractions with like denominators, adding fractions with unlike denominators, and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators). You can print out a few of each design and have students pick the one they want to do.

Crafts/Activities included:

• 10 summer designs
• 1 page of dots on adding fractions with like denominators (10 problems per set)
• 1 page of dots on subtracting fractions with like denominators (10 problems per set)
• 1 page of dots on adding fractions with unlike denominators (10 problems per set)

These crafts/activities can be used to create a bulletin board in the classroom or hallway.
