Do you want to help your students identify, extend, and create patterns as they practice their sequencing skills by completing the patterns? The Summer Math Patterns included are AB, AAB, ABB, and ABC.
In Summer Patterns students will practice four patterns AB, AAB, ABB, and ABC in four themes – Summer Fun, Summertime, Beach Time, and Summer Pals.
* 8 pages AB pattern: color and blackline
* 8 pages AAB pattern: color and blackline
* 8 pages ABB pattern: color and blackline
* 8 pages ABC pattern: color and blackline
* 2 pages of labels for file folder activities

This resource can be presented as a file folder activity using hook and loop tape to position the strips and cards. You can either print them in color or in ink-saving gray scale. The clarity and visual information remains sharp in gray-scale. Just print, cut, laminate, and attach hook and loop tape to the file folder.
In addition to the file folder activities, Summer Patterns includes a 16- page set of printables to practice extending patterning skills. Students can color, cut, and glue summer-themed pages. These pages are variations of the file folder pages, so there are multiple opportunities to practice patterning AB, AAB, ABB, and ABC sequences.
Summer Math Patterns hands-on activities are a great addition to your math centers. Patterning is a basic skill that is a foundation of mathematical concepts.
