Make summer learning fun with our "Summer Math Word Problems"! Designed for kindergarten, these engaging math word problems focus on addition and subtraction within 10. Perfect for keeping young minds sharp over the break, each problem is themed around summer activities, making math practice enjoyable.
As students complete each word problem, they collect one piece of the puzzle. When they collect all the puzzle pieces, they can reveal the summer themed mystery pictures.
This pack is perfect for practice at summer school.
Directions:
1. There are two picture puzzles– one for addition word problems and the other for subtraction word problems.
2. Print and cut the puzzle pieces. You can choose either straight or jigsaw puzzle pieces. Laminate them for durability.
3. Student solves the word problem.
4. Student collects a piece of the jigsaw/straight puzzle.
5. After collecting all the puzzle pieces, student assembles the puzzle to reveal the mystery summer picture.

- 9 Summer themed subtraction word problems - color and b/w.
