I created this bingo game while looking at previous STAAR tests and lists of “stem questions” for reading. I noticed many of my students (especially my ELLs) had trouble with terminology used on the test. I wanted a fun way for them to become more familiar with the test vocabulary. I used this game whole class, small group, during tutoring, and I even gave it to my Tier II and Tier III teachers who were enlisted to help prepare them for the reading test.
