This math project is perfect to end the year and get students excited about the Summer Olympics! It is not specific to the 2016 olympics, so it could be used at any time (like in the fall when the kids come back to school!) It is a great graphing unit, but it also includes having students do research, create word problems about the olympics, and design a final presentation. Students can also write a biography of an athlete in their chosen olympic sport.
Product includes: teacher and student directions, list of summer olympic sports, website suggestions for research, project choice board, and rubrics for teachers and students.
