Description

Stop the summer “brain drain” by equipping your students with simple and quick daily activities to maintain skills over the summer. Packet includes a motivating letter to parents and a list of grade level specific activities aligned to CCSS.
The teacher who follows you in the child’s educational career will be impressed with the academic skills in which your students remained proficient. Your former students will begin the following year on solid ground.
The first year of use of this program in my school resulted in increased results on beginning of the year criterion referenced standardized tests by about 10 percent. We have used it ever since, taking it a step further by placing a signature line at the bottom of the letter for parents to sign pledging to participate in the academic success of their child over the summer months and beyond.
