Are you looking to fill your summer camps with engaging, curiosity-driven activities? Let's explore slime, clouds, colorful milk, sunshine, rainbows, and recycling. We will save you time planning your science-themed camps and clubs. These activities spark excitement and make science feel accessible.

We compiled some of our favorite science and STEM units that are great for camp programs for kindergarten and first graders. These activities can be done at any age, but the worksheets are geared toward lower elementary. Make sure you look at what is included in each resource.

  • discover the secret ingredient in slime.
  • create a cloud in a bottle and design a vest for foggy weather.
  • become food chemists, exploring swirling colors in milk.
  • explore how the Sun's energy transfers into heat energy and create a shade device to protect a popsicle.
  • go green by learning the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling.
  • explore the colors of the rainbow and create colorful spinning tops.

Teachers/Camp Counselors will

  • like the attention to detail and background information. We also include tutorial videos.
  • save time planning with complete units that can become your theme for a summer camp or museum program.
  • love how they are a balance between education and excitement.
  • be able to differentiate by ability by giving them only certain worksheets or projecting them on the board and completing them together.
  • have six themes ready to go and can add in other activities you think blend well, too.

Please review the supplies needed for each activity. We include options for altering the supplies. Fizz Keepers are recommended for Cloud in a Bottle, but we offer an alternative technique. CDs will be needed.
