WHAT TIME IS IT? SUMMER TIME!

As the school year winds down, I get asked a million times if I have any resources to share with parents over the summer. I dislike summer review packets, but I do like challenging my students to keep their writing stamina up over the break.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

This resource includes 9 writing prompts to pick from for each summer month. The prompts cover the months of May, June, July & August - depending on your school schedule! These writing prompts are silly and engaging. These menus come in a PDF form and also a digital Google Slides form. These menus are not editable. Students can write their responses in the Google Slides by adding a slide after the menu, or they can write in a summer notebook/separate sheet of paper. Challenge your students to become a writer this summer!

My students loved these prompts and were excited to use them this summer. :). I added them to their writing journals that we used during the year before they took them home for the summer. Thanks for a great resource!

I bought these to use last spring when we first went virtual. I was at a complete loss for what to do with my students and how to manage virtual learning. This resource was simple to use and produced fun results with my students. Thank you!
