Description
This summer workbook was created to partner with your iReady software to help students over the summer who are behind grade level in math. The workbook is self directed, easily used by families, and allows students to track their progress with stickers and shoot for rewards!
Directions:
1. Print out a copy. Fill out the following:
- On the 3rd page, decide the overall summer and weekly goals. I recommend 4 lessons per week. Make sure they are reasonable!
- On the 6th page, set your rewards. There are 4 levels of rewards. They can be small prizes or certificates. This page is OPTIONAL but RECOMMENDED. You can also omit it.
2. When done, make copies for each student.
- Staple down the left margin to make into a workbook.
- On the cover, write each student's name.
- On the 3rd page, fill out how many lessons that student needs to get to grade level (from their most recent iReady diagnostic scores). This is important to communicate to families and students how important this work is.
