This is a PowerPoint presentation that teaches students how to write a creative story about themselves as a Superhero. They must create and draw their hero, their alter-ego, and a super villain. I have included different AVID strategies also within the presentation, for example: Philosophical Chair debates, quick-write activities and Think-Pair-Share activities. Also, included are links to youtube videos for Super hero information, and a brief explanation of Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey steps.
