Description
Are you looking for an easy way to differentiate writing practice with your students? This product includes ten different ways to practice creating SUPERHERO sentences! It includes ten separate direction posters (choose the one you need!) and two sets of 24 task cards. Instead of using a set of task cards only once, you can use each set for ten(!) different sentence-building activities throughout the year!
This writing practice can be easily differentiated by assigning individual (or groups of) students to work on specific skills, while everyone uses the same set of task cards. Minimal prep, maximum differentiation!
Writing practice includes:
- Expanding sentences with sensory language
- Creating compound or complex sentences
- Beginning sentences with a verb+ing or with an adverb
- Changing sentences into quotations
- Including a series of items (using commas)
- Using adjectives to describe
- Subject and predicate study
- Statements to question

I love these super sentences. Perfect for my super hero theme.
I use this every time we celebrate Super Hero day. The kids often talk about making their sentences into super heroes as they become better at writing.
I love using this with students during our literacy rotations. It's challenging enough to get them thinking but the perfect level to keep them engaged and on task!
My students really enjoyed this resource! Thank you very much!
This was a fun way to practice making different types of sentences. It really pushed the kids to think. It was fun to combine the skills too.
My students really enjoyed this resource! They were engaged and had some fun at the same time.
A handy low prep resource, that my students very much enjoyed!
This is a great resource. Thank you!
