This Syllable Division Booklet includes 18 pages of the most common six syllable types; Open, Closed, Silent E, Vowel Teams, R-Controlled and Consonant-le. Each type includes a page with two, three and four syllable words. Students are encouraged to follow the steps taken when identifying syllables; find and underline the vowels, separate the syllables with a /, and then write the syllables in the boxes provided.
