This is a bundle of the resources I've created to teach and practice syllable division to read and spell 2-syllable words.
These resources are aligned with the science of reading.
This includes:
- Unit 4 Systematic Phonics: Syllable Division with open and closed syllables
- Syllable Division Posters and Practice Pages
- The Schwa
- Phrase Sentence Building: 2-Syllable Words
- Sight Words Unit 6 (High-frequence words with 2 and 3 syllables.
NOTE: The same posters are in both the Unit 4 pack and the Syllable Division Posters pack, but that is the only overlap between the two files. Price is adjusted accordingly.

Great resource
This was a great resource to have to work on foundational level skills with my high school ELD 1 students who primarily speak Spanish or another language. I hope that an update version could be created geared more towards upper grades, as we have a lot of students both ELs and not that need these skills to help their understanding of the English langauge. I love it!
