This mini booklet when printed may take some simple assembling on your part, but it has 4 BASIC syllable division rules that are easy to understand and explain to students. Rule number 1 deals with words that have 1 consonant between the vowels (syllables). Rule number 2 deals with words that have 2 consonant between the vowels. Rule number 3 deals with words that have 3 consonants between the vowels. One should have basic awareness of OPEN and CLOSED syllables, digraphs, vowel teams, and 2 rotten letters that are explained.
