Do you need an easy, fun way to build a foundation for students to understand the purpose of nonfiction text features? In this station, students are given a nonfiction text features and they have to explain its purpose and why an author would use it.
The great thing about this product is that it can serve as a year-round self-sustaining station to support the reading strategy of making connections.

Nonfiction Text Features Digital Station
Do you need an easy, fun way to build a foundation for students to predict author's purpose? In this station, students are given book cover and title and they have to explain their prediction as to why the author wrote the text. This builds an early foundation of providing evidence to support a prediction.
This activity can be assigned through Google Slides/Google Classroom or SeeSaw!
The great thing about this product is that it can serve as a year-round self-sustaining station to support the reading strategy of identifying author’s purpose.
