Description

This is a 8-question, self-grading quiz that assesses your students' knowledge of solving systems of linear equations. All questions have one solution. Questions include:

  • Both equations written in slope-intercept form
  • Both equations in standard form
  • Equations written in varying forms

Upon submitting the Google Form, the students will receive instant feedback informing them of their scored based on the percent answered correctly and an indication of the problems they got incorrect. You can edit these settings at any time, however, to meet your instructional goals.

  • No prep needed!
  • Self-grading!
  • Made for Google Drive.

You will receive access to a copy of the Google form.

Analyze and solve pairs of simultaneous linear equations.
Understand that solutions to a system of two linear equations in two variables correspond to points of intersection of their graphs, because points of intersection satisfy both equations simultaneously.
Solve systems of two linear equations in two variables algebraically, and estimate solutions by graphing the equations. Solve simple cases by inspection. For example, 3๐˜น + 2๐˜บ = 5 and 3๐˜น + 2๐˜บ = 6 have no solution because 3๐˜น + 2๐˜บ cannot simultaneously be 5 and 6.
