Description
The Taj Mahal graphing activity is an exercise for excelling students that combines coordinate graphing with art and geography. In addition, the enrichment questions encourage students to investigate the concepts of perspective, slope, shading, and symmetry.
This is a great activity for students who understand the basics of plotting points on a coordinate grid, can work independently, and are looking for a challenge. It can be used as seat work while you help other students, or a take-home assignment.
Part of the intrigue of this assignment is the mystery: see if your students can graph it without knowing their final goal!
