Description
A perfect way to stress the importance of doing the "work" in a multiple choice exam. There are 2 tests in this download, each with very different objectives.
1) Focuses on "not paying attention to a pattern." All the answers except 1 (question #7) are B. This will force a student to rely on their Math skills and trust that they know the material and/or solved the problem correctly. It will help them let go of the anxiety of things "looking weird" and changing their answers unnecessarily.
2) Focuses on the importance of showing/doing work, even during multiple choice exams. The "none of the above" selection will highlight the possibility that the answers they see may not be the correct one at all. In this quiz 6 of the 10 answers are "none of the above."
Both use 4th grade level content standards, so it can help assess knowledge of the material just before the state exams. But they can also used in upper grades for lower level students.
