Addition and subtraction word problems within 20. Use number line, drawing, and equation to complete each word problem.
Each page has two story problems that are similar. This allows students who struggle with the first problem to have success and extra practice by doing the second one (also to minimize paper waste by including two on each page).
The first ten pages of this pack are subtraction problems and the second set of ten are addition. Each problem contains a number line, a box for illustration, and a number sentence.
These pages would be great for morning work, homework, extra practice for struggling students, and math centers.

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.1.OA.A.1
Use addition and subtraction within 20 to solve word problems involving situations of adding to, taking from, putting together, taking apart, and comparing, with unknowns in all positions, e.g., by using objects, drawings, and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem.
