Description
These self-checking Tangram Alphabet puzzles combine geometry and letter recognition for 1st-3rd grade Montessori students, with the control of error on the back. They are printable and the control of error is on the back so your Lower Elementary students will be able to independently assemble the puzzles and see how they did. They can also keep track of their progress using the provided tracking sheets. See the PREVIEW for complete details.
Here are some additional details to help you decide if this resource is right for you:
- Each task card is 4.25" x 5.5".
- You get 26 cards, one for each letter of the alphabet.
- You get two different versions of the task cards, one with solid black images and the other with black outlines only (to save on printer ink).
- I've included instructions to help you get this activity up and running quickly.
- If you don't have Tangram sets in your classroom, I've included a template that you can print on card stock and cut out to use as manipulatives.
- These task cards are meant as a visual only. They print 4 to a page and are not sized to any particular Tangram set. You will likely not be able to fit your Tangrams directly on to the puzzles.
