Command cards are Montessori type activities designed for use by individual students or small groups of students.

Tangrams can be used to teach geometric concepts such as kinds of angles, and the area of figures. The diagrams are not made to “fit” the tangrams, so students must translate the pictures in their minds rather than just fitting pieces into a space as younger students do when working with Tangrams.
