This set of math task cards will help your students practice working with odd and even numbers within 100. There are 32 task cards in this set. There are questions that require adding 2 or 3 numbers to determine an odd or an even sum. Some questions will require problem solving strategies. The questions are presented in a multiple choice format. There are two kinds of student recording sheets which will allow you to have a student accountability piece. An answer keys are also provided.
You will need to print and cut out four task cards from each of the 8 pages. Color ink is required for printing. I recommend that you use the best quality print setting and print on card-stock paper. If desired, laminate the task cards for long lasting use. The task cards could also be printed with a high quality gray-scale setting if color ink is limited. Please be sure to view the photograph in the preview file to see the results of my own gray-scale printing. The task cards measure at approximately 5 ¼ x 4 inches or 13 x 10 centimeters.
These task cards reinforce 1st and 2nd grade level math content in Virginia.
I suggest that students have access to manipulatives such as math cubes and some scratch paper in the center where you plan to use the task cards.
