Description

This is a collection of 40 reading comprehension questions based on 3rd grade common core ELA standards for informational text.

The material is presented two ways. First, a traditional worksheet is provided for students. Second, these questions are split apart into task cards for a variety of uses such as quizzes, test prep practice, scoot activities, remediation, ticket-out-the-door, an option for students who finish work quickly, and so many more uses.

Each question is based on a short 1-3 paragraph based on forest habitats. The questions are grouped according to the standard as well as the paragraph.

For example, in this product, all RI3 standards are based on the same passage; all RI8 standards are based on a common passage.

There are 40 questions in this product: 4 for each of the 10 informational common core standards.
The question format is broken down as follows:
-Multiple Choice: 27 questions
-Single Short Answer: 5 questions
-Multiple Short Answer: 3 questions
-Short Constructed Response: 5 questions
