Description

For some of our kids, just asking them to read a book is a BIG deal. Saddle them with questions and paperwork to complete before, during and after the book, and it quickly becomes overwhelming and let’s just admit it: sometimes they refuse.

These cards were designed with those reluctant readers in mind.

Filling out a few cards while they are reading shouldn’t be a deal-breaker. Let them pick which ones to do and when. Let them use the cards as book marks. Laminate and re-use them. Glue ‘em into their notebooks. Or use them to start a wall display. The ideas are endless…

Why reinvent the wheel? These task cards can be used as exit tickets, independent work that students can share during literacy circles, etc.
