Description

Included in this set are 16 cards containing graphs, tables, and word problems in which students must write the exponential equation representing the situation, as well as a recording sheet for students to write their answers.

This corresponds to (Texas) Algebra 1 TEK: A.9C write exponential equations in the form y=ab^x from mathematical and real word situations including growth and decay (Readiness Standard).

Problems are printed on the front of the cards, and answers are printed on the back, so you may choose how you would like to use the cards.

Task cards are a great way to get your kiddos up and moving around! You can also use them for early finishers, or to differentiate for your students. You can copy them with or without the answers on the back. Its all up to you!

Instead of me demonstrating additional examples, it's much engaging on part of the learner to explore exponential functions in graphs, tables or situational problems using this resource.
