This resource is a Google Drive resource made in Google Slides for use with Nearpod. It is a great Distance Learning tool for use with Nearpod. You must have a paid Nearpod account and a working Nearpod Add-On in Google Slides to use these products.

Looking for an easy way to bring classroom lessons to your students remotely? This bundle includes a week's worth of lessons for each of these first grade math topics: Teen Numbers, Addition with Sums to 20, Make a Ten to Add, and Addition with 3 Numbers. These lessons align with UNIT 3 (Lessons 12, 13, 14, 15) in Curriculum Associates Ready Math, but it can be used with any curriculum. Please note, this set does not include Ready Math Lesson 16. Slides are interactive and require student response. Responses can be viewed by the teacher within Nearpod reports for easy assessments. Don't need for remote learning? Use it in math stations!

Each lesson set includes:

A warm-up question or activity

A video (days 1&2)

A "challenge" problem

A modeling video made by me of the challenge problem

Practice questions (amount varies by day)

Voice recordings on the slides of directions/problems read aloud

Assessment questions on the last day of the week

This is a fabulous resource to start from! I encourage you to use Nearpod to add teacher modeling videos of you, links to your curriculum's activities, etc. to make it personal for your students. If you wish to break up the lessons into a Nearpod for each day, use "copy entire presentation" and delete the slides you don't need. Otherwise, the slides will no longer be interactive. I will be adding interactive video tutorials from Curriculum Associates for my students to use (I would add here, but copyright :)) I am happy to help you make this work for you!
