Description
Enclosed are the resources I use for showing the movie (not for the book) Whale Rider, which is a great film for 8th, 9th, 10 graders. You'll find a guide for the movie inside, as well as a group assignment, note taking sheets and discussion prompts!
FYI: As a rule, my zip files for teaching a novel do not lay out step-by-step plans how to teach the book--that's up to you. Instead, what I give you is all of my resources to use at your disposition; some of the resources here I didn't even end up using, though I figured you might find them useful. Use these files to enhance your teaching style and your students' learning needs...

This source was key in my unit studying Polynesian History and reading The Whale Rider and film viewing. Thanks for the great ideas!
Very useful, thank you.
I am sorry, but the material is repetitive, and contains personal class notes (student names, meeting places etc.) A person might be able to glean a few thoughts and ideas. If I could have seen a preview, I wouldn't have purchased it.
Thanks
Thanks so much! My students loved this movie, and these questions helped them to keep track of the important ideas within!
Thanks!
Why is this temporarily unavailable after I just bought it?
thanks!
