What makes a great team? Or put it another way: What makes a team become great?
A team is a group of people who share a commitment to achieving some important goal. It is amazing how much you can accomplish when it doesn’t matter who gets the credit.
In other words, when one person cannot accomplish a job alone and several individuals must cooperate to fulfill a mission, you need a team. The better the cooperation, communication, and coordination among team members, the more efficient the team. Team work results from involvement.
Team building is an effort in which a team studies its own process of working together and acts to create a climate that encourages and values the contributions of team members.
