I am in the process of using this resource, but there is an issue with one of the resource links. In the lighting worksheet, the link to the " Lecture on Instrument Types & Components " is the same as the link to Lecture on Reasons for Lighting. I don't see anywhere that I can contact the vendor to discuss this problem, which makes the plethora of links in this resource challenging if there is a broken link. Feeling a little disappointed.

Hi Jody, My apologies if the information wasn't clear in the unit. The links you mention are the same, as are the student notes because this presentation is split into two parts, but you could most certainly do both parts at the same time. The first part of the presentation covers reasons for lighting, gels and gobos and the second part of the presentation covers lighting instruments. I will eventually be updating this Prezi into Google Slides to separate the topics for better functionality and ease for chunking the lessons, but that update isn't completed yet. When it is, buyers will be notified of the improvement and have access to those without charge. As a first-year Stagecraft / Technical theatre teacher, I found this Bundle to be EXACTLY what I was looking for! Burr has put together a concise, manageable, fun, and extremely well-thought-out curriculum. Her slides are topical and interesting, her materials match the needs of my students, and her projects are extremely engaging for the students. Whether you have a hard-core theatre student or you have students who have no idea what technical theatre is, this bundle will service them. My students loved the video Burr put together and I loved learning from this packet. What an absolute life-saver. I couldn't be more appreciative. Thanks a million. This saved the day and made a year that I thought was going to be clunky into a real success story.

These lesson plans are excellent. You can easily adapt them to your own course and context. This is definitely a necessary starting point for your theater production curriculum. This is definitely one you'd want to put in for when doing a materials request. Thank you so much!

This is a great start to many units. The creator adapted many things and made things editable for me so I could put in facts that related to my auditorium specifically. She emailed me immediately and updated the files. Great videos are imbedded. Preview the Why are props important video to see if it's too adult for your group. It is outstanding but there is adult language and some gory props. I showed part of it and took out some of the video.
