Math Virginia SOL 3.1b Rounding
Grade 3
This product was created to assist you in preparing your students to answer the increased rigor and technology enhanced item (TEI) questions on the Virginia SOL. This SMARTboard lesson will help your students practice and feel comfortable with these TEI questions.
This product contains 15 of the following types of TEI practice items:
• Fill in the Blank
• Hot Spot (Specified)
• Hot Spot (Unspecified)
• Drag and Drop (Specified)
• Drag and Drop (Unspecified)
For the Drag and Drop and Fill in the Blank questions, you must verify that students have answered the problem correctly. For the Hot Spot questions, the answer will change colors when clicked. The answer will turn red if it is an incorrect answer choice and green if it is a correct answer choice.
The questions in this product were created based on the released examples of TEI from the Virginia Department of Education and SOL TestNav Practice items. The more you practice and discuss TEI with your students, they better prepared they will be to answer these new challenging questions!
Though created for Virginia SOLs, TEI questions are appearing in the Common Core Curriculum as well.
