Students practice composing and decomposing teen numbers with a ladybug themed using Google Slides™. This is the perfect kindergarten distance learning math assignment that can be assigned in Google Classroom™.

Includes 3 different links go Google Slides files to help scaffold students learning. Each file has all teen numbers for students to work with.

Students will

  • with a movable object "circle" and group of ten and identify how many more and type the teen number to match
  • with a movable circle, "circle" a teen number to match the number of spots on a ladybug
  • given a teen number, add spots to a group of ten to make the teen number and finish the number sentence to match

Each file has "I Can" statements and instructions.

This assignment can be "turned in" and checked by the teacher using Google Classroom. Perfect for learning teen numbers in kindergarten or as a review in early first grade.
