This 55 page MULTI math pack includes Tens frame activities worksheets and Work Mats with counters and Task Card Math Center Game for exploring the number ten and many posters for your visual learners.

This file is a great way to enhance your students' number sense. Ten frames help promote composing and decomposing of numbers. They help the brain organize numbers into chunks to match our base 10 system. This ten frame pack will engage and challenge your learners while reinforcing their number sense.

This product has:

3. Cross Off Subtraction Mat Math Center with work sheet and answer key

The worksheet can be used for independent work, homework, centers or mastery check. It can assess your students' understanding with decomposing ten using numbers 1-9. It uses ten frames and equations to provide the answers. This correlates with the new common core standards for First and Kindergarten grade math as well as Florida’s MAFS. It can help your first graders practice what they learned addition sum to 10 using numbers 1- 10 using in a 10 frame. This helps students make visual images of numbers. This will help introduce concept of addition.

Print and laminate mats for longer use. Students can use dry markers to write down the missing part or use ocean counters I have provided. Use it as a fun center game. Students can use counters to complete equation. Mats have an addition and subtraction equation blanks. Can be uses whole group teaching or small group. Teacher can use it for intervention. It can also be used as an assessment.

This file goes along with Envision Math series Topic 1, 2, and 3.

There is a blank worksheet to create your own problem. Pack comes in bright color border with white background. Cute Winter and penguin clip art are on each card.

CCSS.Math.Content.K.CC.B.5 Count to answer “how many?” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1–20, count out that many objects.
